Pompano fishing along the surf continues to improve, with decent catches coming to those putting the time in. Sand fleas, clams, and Fish Bites all seem to be working well. Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, and Snook are also being caught along the shore, taking spoons, soft plastics, and even topwater plugs under calmer conditions. The inlets have been a bit difficult for Snook, due mostly to clearer than usual water. Due to this, live bait has been more productive.
