Inshore, Sea trout catches have been good, as witnessed in the latest Backcountry Fishing Association tournament, as well as some decent Redfish catches. Finding cleaner water has been difficult, but seeking out areas with firmer bottoms and lee areas will certainly help. Paddle tail soft plastics, spoons, and other lures that create vibration definitely will help. There are also some larger Snook still around docks and occasionally on the flats. Black Drum and Sheepshead have been rewarding anglers fishing the bridges with shrimp and fiddler crabs. Fishing the inlets for Snook has been slow, but hopefully that will change with a better weather pattern.
