Scouting Around Sebastian Area
The Snook and Sheepshead bite has been good. Anglers using live shrimp are having good luck. Large shrimp are hard to find right now but they really don't have to be large, they are hitting the smaller shrimp as well. Shrimp are running in the evenings. Shaun Vasey of Palm Bay sent in an update this morning. He was fishing the north side last night and reported Reds were out in force, he had some great topwater action using a popper.
Our photos today are courtesy of David Glasser. David and his sons Christian and Kaiden made a trip to the inlet and fished the end of the incoming tide for about 40 minutes and landed several C/R Snook and one nice Sheepshead. They also lost a few nice Snook. All the Snook were landed on live shrimp and released unharmed. They had a great day on the water! David also made it back down to the inlet with his friend Ray Guarino, David reported a great day with 11 C/R Snook, one upper slot Red and one fat Cubera Snapper.
Photo one features Christian Glasser with a C/R Snook. Photo two is of Ray Guarino with a nice Cubera Snapper and photo four is of Ray with a upper slot Red.
