08-03-16 WEDNESDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, JACKS, REDS, C/R SNOOK AND LADYFISH
We have a little swell this morning and there are a few surfers in the water taking advantage of it. We have another hot, steamy morning. Winds are blowing out of the South-Southwest at 1 mph, gusting to 3 and there is a light chop on the water. NOAA is calling for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms today.
Mangrove Snapper, a few Muttons, Blue Runners, Lookdowns, Jacks, Reds and C/R Snook are coming over the rails of the jetties but not in huge numbers. It's summer at the inlet and it is typically slow but the water is clear and it's beautiful. Get out and wet a line, you never know what will bite!
