Sebastian Inlet Report
04-06-16 WEDNESDAY: SLOW BITE.....
We have a windy morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the Northeast at 17 mph, gusting to 22 and the water is choppy. NOAA has a small craft advisory in effect through this evening and there is a chance of showers today.
We received an update from Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach who fished the north jetty yesterday. Mike got the "lottery fish" of the morning, a 25" Black Drum. The rest of the fish coming over the rails were Lookdowns, Blues and Jacks, a slow morning overall.
Charlie Achinelli reported the surf is still holding a few Pompano; clams seem to work best this time of year. Charlie landed several nice Pompano along with Blues and Whiting.
Our first photo today features Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach with a 28" Black Drum he landed.
Photo two is of Charlie Achinelli's Pompano, Whiting and Bluefish catches.
