Sebastian Inlet Report
02-29-16 MONDAY: SLOWER BITE
Happy Leap Day! We have a gorgeous morning at the inlet. There is very little wind blowing out of the Southeast and there is a light chop on the water. Winds are forecasted to increase a little this afternoon, but overall we are looking at a very calm day.
Sarah at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported that over the weekend the bite slowed a little. Small Spanish Mackerel, a few Blues, Jacks and Pompano came over the rails. There was a decent Snook bite on the tide changes for anglers free lining shrimp. We're still seeing Black Drum, Sheepshead and Reds as well.
Our first photo today features Dylan Anderson. Dylan landed the 35" C/R Snook and released it unharmed right after the photo.
Photo two features David of Kissimmee. David's first trip to the inlet with Luke Vila produced a lot of Snapper and the Catfish in photo two. All fish were released.
Photo three features Luke Vila of Kissimmee with a Whiting he landed and released.
