Sebastian Inlet Report

02-15-16 MONDAY: BLACK DRUM, SPANISH MACKEREL, SHEEPSHEAD, BLUES, FLOUNDER, SNOOK, REDS AND TROUT

Winds are blowing out of the East-Southeast at 16 mph, gusting to 20 and there is a moderate chop on the water. We have clouds over the inlet this morning with a chance of showers throughout the day. NOAA has issued a small craft advisory through late tonight. Always check the NOAA forecast prior to boating.

The weekend brought in some mid-sized and larger Flounder, Sheepshead and Black Drum. Slot and oversized Snook and Reds, quite a few Spanish Mackerel and a couple of Trout, Blues and Pompano were landed as well. Overall, we had a pretty good weekend even with the high winds.

Our first photo today features Jason Wagner of Winter Springs. Jason came over to the fish the north jetty and went home with the 26" Black Drum that Jason landed on clams along with a Blue he landed on shrimp. His dad John landed a Sheepshead and two Blues on shrimp as well. They saw on oversized Red come over the rails, one big Snook and several small Pompano.
