Scouting Around Sebastian
What a gorgeous Friday morning at the Sebastian Inlet! Winds are blowing out of the Southwest at 3 mph, gusting to 5 and there is a light chop on the water. Winds are predicted to increase a little this afternoon but it looks like a great day to get out and fish.
The bite is very good at the inlet according to Sarah at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop. Slot and oversized C/R Snook, Black Drum, Pompano, Reds, Sheepshead, Flounder are all being landed. A few Blues and Spanish Mackerel are in the mix as well. Sarah had to close up the shop to see it but there were four slot sized Black Sea Bass that were landed from the north jetty yesterday, what a rare treat! We've had some unusual events this week!
Our first photo today features Tanner Stewart with a real nice 8.7 lb. doormat he landed on the south side of the inlet.
Photo four features Bob Mann with a huge C/R Red he landed off the north jetty.
