Sebastian Inlet Report

09-10-15 THURSDAY: REDS, SNAPPER AND SNOOK!

The anglers fishing the jetties have fair skies this morning. If there are any showers today, they're more likely after 12 P.M. The temperature will stay hot, topping out around 91 degrees. The winds will be southerly around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. If you plan to go out this evening, expect just a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 P.M. with southerly winds 5 to 10 mph. Visibility...10 miles.

Anglers are finding the bite to be pretty good according to Tommy Turkowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop. Tommy reports a lot of reds getting caught along with good number of mangrove snapper. The mutton and cuberas are showing up in the bite, as well as jacks and some large, nighttime snook. Tommy says the finger mullet have joined the mojarra and greenies already schooling the Inlet.

Today's photo is a big red landed by an anonymous angler fishing off the north jetty last month. If you recognize your catch, let us know and we'll give you credit.
