Sebastian Inlet Report
08-06-15 THURSDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, JACKS, REDS AND C/R SNOOK
We have a beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds have picked up and are blowing out of the South-Southwest at 7 mph, gusting to 10. That is helping keep our anglers cooler, but there's nothing that can be done about the humidity, we just have to live with it! There are no NOAA advisories but as usual, we have a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon.
Mangrove Snapper are the main attraction at the inlet. A few Reds, C/R Snook, Jacks, Bonito, a stray Sheepshead or Mackerel will come over the rails of the jetties but overall it's been slow. Fishing low light periods has been more productive for some of our anglers.
