Sebastian Inlet Report
08-11-15 TUESDAY: DECENT SNAPPER BITE
We're going to have another white-hot day at the inlet. Humidity is high and winds are low this morning. The wind is blowing at 4 mph out of the South-Southwest and gusting to 6. Winds are expected to increase a little this afternoon. There are no NOAA advisories.
There was a decent Mangrove Snapper bite off the north jetty yesterday. Some of the regulars thought the North wind may have had something to do with the uptick but whatever the reason, everyone was happy. Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach landed three nice fish and reported a steady bite all morning. One Jack and one C/R Redfish were landed during his time on the jetty yesterday.
Our first photo today is courtesy of Alek Turko of Indialantic. Alek landed the four keeper Mangrove Snapper in the photo. He also had some shorts that included a juvenile Mutton Snapper and a Schoolmaster Snapper.
