Sebastian Inlet Report
07-14-15 TUESDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, C/R SNOOK, REDS, JACKS AND TARPON
It's a beautiful summer morning at the inlet. This morning winds are blowing out of the West-Southwest at 9 mph and the water is very calm. It's a good morning to get out and enjoy the beach but we have a good chance of showers and thunderstorms later today. Fishing remains fair; there are some Reds and C/R Snook biting along with Mangrove Snapper and Jacks. Tarpon have been active in the evenings.
Our first photo today features Herb Pittman of Palm Bay. Herb landed this 39.5" C/R Snook off the north jetty using mojarra on the outgoing tide. The Snook was released unharmed right after the photo.
Steven Stuart of Asheville, NC is featured in our second photo today. Steven was using pinfish to land this good sized Jack on the incoming tide. The Jack put up and real nice fight.
