Sebastian Inlet Report

07-13-15 MONDAY: REDS, C/R SNOOK, JACKS, SNAPPER, BLUE RUNNERS

We have another gorgeous morning at the Sebastian Inlet. Winds are blowing out of the East at 7 mph, gusting to 9 and the water is calm. The cold water upwelling is gone and water temperatures have returned to normal.

Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported a fair weekend. Quite a few Reds were active and anglers using top water plugs had the best luck. C/R Snook, a few Mangrove Snapper, Mackerel and Blue Runners were landed. Night fishing has been productive for Reds, C/R Snook and Tarpon.
Our angler of the day is Donte Williams of Orlando. Donte fished the north jetty when he landed this big Goliath Grouper in our photo. Donte walked the fish down to the beach and got into the water to release it. The prehistoric looking fish swam away unharmed.
