Sebastian Inlet Report

06-03-15 WEDNESDAY: SNAPPER, SNOOK, MACKEREL AND FLOUNDER

It's been a gray day with a trace of rain to start off the Wednesday report. Winds are light and mostly out of the WSW. They're expected to shift to ESE later today. NWS forecasts a light chop on the intracoastal with scattered showers and the possibility of thunderstorms. It's an advisory-free day from NOAA.

A few of the Inlet regulars are seeing some action. Mike Ricciardi reported a pretty good Mangrove Snapper bite on Monday morning along with some plentiful Spanish Mackerel and a good sized Flounder on the line. His catches were hitting on greenies, live shrimp and Mojarra.

Our angler of the day is Vero Beach's Justin Werner. Justin caught four Snook  including this 29" slot Snook featured in our photo. All of his Snook took the offering of live shrimp.
