Sebastian Inlet Report

 05-06-15 WEDNESDAY: CLOUDY AND WINDY

THE A-1-A BRIDGE OVER THE INLET WILL BE CLOSED TODAY FROM 10:00 - 11:30 A.M. AND AGAIN FROM 1:00 - 2:30 P.M. BUILD IN A LITTLE EXTRA TIME FOR TRAFFIC DELAYS. D.O.T. IS REMOVING THE NORTH CATWALK.

We have dark skies over this inlet this morning. Winds are blowing out of the Northeast at 15 mph, gusting to 18 and the water is choppy. We may see the wind decrease this afternoon but we still have a chance of showers throughout the day with potential thunderstorms. NOAA has issued a small craft advisory through late tonight.

We don't have many anglers out on the jetties this morning due to the conditions but sometimes that is when the bite turns on. Snook and Reds seem to get invigorated with this type of weather; grab a rain suit, get out and give it a shot!

Our angler of the day is inlet regular Chuck Fischer of Satellite Beach. Chuck was fishing the early morning shift when he landed this big, C/R Snook off the north jetty.
