05-04-15 MONDAY: FAIR WEEKEND BITE
We have a windy but nice morning at the Inlet. Winds are blowing out of the East at 17 mph, gusting to 18 and the water is choppy. Small craft should exercise caution this morning and NOAA has issued a small craft advisory from this afternoon through Tuesday night.
Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported a fair weekend for our jetty anglers. The early Saturday and Sunday morning bite was hot for big Jacks. Mangrove Snapper moved in hitting live shrimp. Oversized and a few slot Snook came over the rails along with big and slot Reds. A couple of Permit and a few Blues were in play as well. Thanks Tommy!
