Sebastian Inlet Report
05-11-15 MONDAY: JACKS, SNOOK, REDS, SNAPPER, LADYFISH AND BLUES
We have a beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the Southeast at 7 mph, gusting to 9 and there is a moderate chop on the water.
We received a few photos of some oversized Reds and a big Snook from the weekend and we'll be posting those photos this week. Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported a fair weekend for our inlet anglers. Schools of big Jacks were chasing schools of finger mullet in the morning hours and lots of folks hooked up. Reds, Snook and Mangrove Snapper made appearances and a few Blues and Ladyfish came over the rails as well. We're starting to see more finger mullet in the water along with a few mojarra and greenies.
Our angler of the day is inlet regular Chris Robinson of W. Melbourne. Chris landed this gorgeous slot Snook Friday morning off the north jetty using mojarra. This Snook was nice and thick and we know Chris got some great filets from it.
