THERE WAS A REPORT OF QUITE A FEW TARPON MILLING AROUND BY THE THE POWER PLANT, WITH QUITE A FEW BEING HOOKED AND A FEW LANDED ON FLY. POMPANO HAVE STILL BEEN BEING REPORTED AND CAUGHT THROUGHOUT THE RIVER BUT BEGINNING TO BECOME A LITTLE MORE SCARCE AS WE MOVE LATER IN THE MONTH. TROUT ARE STILL PLENTIFUL SOUTH IN THE RIVER FROM THE POWERLINES SOUTH ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER. FARTHER NORTH IN THE RIVER SNOOK AN REDFISHING CONTINUES TO BE VERY PRODUCTIVE ESPECIALLY ON SOFT PASTICS ESPECIALLY PADDLE TAILS AND AS ALWAYS LIVE BAITS.
