02-04-15 WEDNESDAY: THE BITE HAS PICKED UP A LITTLE
We have a warmer day today with a little less wind. Winds are blowing out of the East-Southeast at 10 mph, gusting to 12 and there is a moderate chop on the water. There are no NOAA advisories this morning.
Yesterday inlet regular Tony Swiderski fished the north jetty's early morning shift and landed an oversized Red and a 32.5" Snook that was returned to the water, so close! Tony saw one slot Snook landed yesterday morning. The slot is 28" - 32" with a bag limit of one per person per day.
Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop said the bite picked up a little yesterday with a good Blues bite on the outgoing tide. He also saw some big Sheepshead, smaller Trout and a few Black Drum.
Our photo today is courtesy of Jose Pina of Poinciana. Jose landed the Black Drum, Pompano and Blue Runners off the north jetty.
