In the Intracoastal Waterway, jacks and ladyfish are biting in the flats and around Marker 42.
Ladyfish and Spanish mackerel are being caught in the surf along Palm Beach.
The beach fishing has been a little slower in the southern end of the county, but there are some jacks and Spanish mackerel being reported.
In the Intracoastal, you can always try your luck snook fishing around bridges and docks at night.
FRESHWATER
It has been another great week for bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee. It has been a little chilly and the wind has mate it challenging at times to fish the outside edges and back in the grass, but that hasn’t reduced the number of fish being caught. Several large bass were caught over the past week as well.
The East Wall remains a hot spot for anglers fishing the southern end of the lake, and live shiners are still working better than artificial lures.
You can catch numbers all day.
