Inshore yesterday there were reports of some pompano around in the inlet on the incoming tide with a few jacks and ladyfish mixed in.The trout fishing was good around Bear point to the power plant on the out going tide soft baits in the root beer color produced the best.Snook season opened Sunday and the fishing has been great at the jetty and around the bridges at night with both jigs and live bait.The inlet has had a few fish around on the incoming tide during the day pig and pinfish have produced the best.
