From John @ Moon Light Charters /Stuart Angler

As the cold fronts move through our area look for the pompano bite to heat up around  the bridges and the areas surrounding the St. Lucie Inlet. Frozen clams and Pompano jigs are highly effective for targeting the schools as they move through.
The flats around the St.Lucie power plant has been a great place to find trout and redfish hanging around the shallow grass flats. Live shrimp and DOA CAL jigs have been the hot ticket when targeting these species. And last but not least it's SNOOK SEASON. The fishing  around the Roosevelt bridge has been best during the outgoing tide using Hogy lures as well as SpoolTek' s worked along the bottom. Dock light's are another great way to find large numbers of snook on both fly and light spin gear.
