Sebastian Inlet Report
01-12-15 MONDAY: BLACK DRUM AND SHEEPSHEAD ARE VERY ACTIVE
We have a breezy morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the Southeast at 14 mph, gusting to 16 and there is a moderate chop on the water. The wind is predicted to subside some this afternoon. NOAA has issued a small craft advisory through 10:00 this morning.
Chuck Fischer of Satellite Beach made a rare weekend appearance at the inlet. He slipped down to the inlet in the rain yesterday morning and reported a good Sheepshead and Black Drum bite. Chuck landed three Black Drum measuring 32", 26" and 25". The Drum in the photo was the 32" fish. Chuck kept the 26" only and returned the other two to.The last two photo is of Trey Waller who travels up from time to time from Palm Beach. He's here with a nice Red caught on a flarehawk jig
