Sebastian Inlet

Tommy Turowski of the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported good sized Spanish Mackerel Snook, Reds, Black Drum, Sheepshead are active and some nice Pompano are beginning to arrive. The Flounder bite has just been mediocre, most have been in the 3 - 5 lb. range, we're still waiting on those door mats! Tommy said the water has been murky from the rains and Flounder prefer it clear. Hopefully we will see it clear up and see the big guys move in soon.

Sally Baughman sent us an email from the north jetty and reported the morning activities produced a lot of Pompano coming over the rails for anglers using sand fleas and clams. Lots of Sheepshead and lots of Blues and several nice Black Drum were landed as well. Thanks Sally!

Our photo is of a fantastic catch made by Brook Crist of Pompano Beach. Brook, her boyfriend Vicktor and other friends made a trip to the inlet. The guys were catching a few Reds and some Snook and Brook was determined to land one too. Brook hooked up with this enormous Redfish and with the help of Viktor and their friend Ben, managed to pull it up via net for a quick photo before releasing it unharmed.

The next photo is of Robbie of West Palm having a good night with a nice snook caught with a flare hawk.
