Sebastian Inlet Report

11-10-14 MONDAY: SPANISH MACKEREL, REDS, BLACK DRUM, SNOOK, ATLANTIC SPADEFISH, SHEEPSHEAD AND FLOUNDER

We have ominous skies over the inlet this morning. We had a lot of rain over the weekend and a good possibility of more today. It's very dark offshore and to the southwest of the inlet. Don't let a little rain scare you off; fishing was fantastic over the weekend. Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported large Spanish Mackerel hitting Gotcha lures, lots of Jacks, Blues, Snook, Black Drum, Reds, Flounder, Sheepshead and Atlantic Spadefish are all making their way in and out of the inlet. Bait has been scarce but with a little work, you can find some greenies and a few finger mullet. Shrimp has been the bait of choice for most anglers.

Our photo today features inlet regular Bill Hillman of Kissimmee. Bill fished the north jetty and landed this nice 26.5" slot Red. Bill was using finger mullet and landed his Red on the tip of the jetty around 8:30 p.m.
