SURF/PIER- Lots of action along the beach right now! The mullet schools are around, and the tarpon and snook have not fully left yet, although the bluefish have shown up in force so the snook will be packing it up before too long. Bluefish action is very good, and will only continue to improve with each front. Silver spoons, popping plugs, and cut bait are all great bait choices for the bluefish. Mixed in with the bluefish will be jacks and some monster ladyfish. The sharks (mainly blacktips and spinners) are beginning to show up with all the good food around. Pompano fishing is starting to fire up as well. Lots of small pompano around, with some nice keepers mixed in. Fishbites, sandfleas, and clams are all good bait choices for the pompano; as are Doc's Goofy Jigs, especially off of Juno Beach pier.
