From Henry & Fred @ Snook-Nook - Jensen Beach

Surf is still the spot...  Looking for serious action come on down, Tarpon and Snook and lots of bait.  We have had reports from north to south but you have to  be there to watch the sun rise.  Anglers using lures that have the  floater diver action report plenty of action. If you are a live bait angler slow down and keep your bait up close, you can see the fish.  But you need plenty of line these fish will use it all so be ready. Plenty of Whiting of all size and Pompano are running in and out, who knows where they came from. It  seams the fish are home all day, depending on your time come on down and catch a fish.  Big live baits for the Tarpon and Snook, a piece of shrimp will   keep the others happy but playing with the big boys fish early. Big Reds in the river, from County line road north on the west side and yes there are a few on the east side.   Fishing in the shallowest or water these fish have been there all day but when you see all the bait it is no wonder that they are there.  They  will eat a small spoon a DOA shrimp and yes live baits  are working. Trout have been more to the east side but dawn is the answer if Trout is your target.  Plenty of Snook and Tarpon but before sun rise is  the secret, big live baits will get them.  Most Snook are over the size and the Tarpon will  test your age but they sure can pull.  Snapper bite continues to be excellent  so do not forge the ice.
