Sebastian Inlet Report
08-07-14 THURSDAY: SNAPPER, JACKS, REDS, SNOOK AND TARPON
It's another hot, steamy morning at the inlet. There is barely any wind blowing, when it does it's out of the Southwest. Be sure to take insect repellent if you head to the inlet today. There have been a few Mangrove Snapper and a few slot sized Mutton Snapper, some big Jacks are scooting around and big Reds, Tarpon and Snook have been active in the evening hours, according to Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet State Park Bait and Tackle Shop.
Our first photo today is courtesy of Chuck Fischer of Satellite Beach. Chuck took the photo of Tony Swiderski of Sebastian with a good sized Black Margate he landed on Tuesday morning. Looks like he was the "fish lottery" winner of the morning. He estimated the Margate to be in the 7 lb. range.
