From Todd / Eric @ Juno Bait -Juno Beach

Despite the warm water the flats around Munyon Island saws little surge of fish this week with some snook, big jacks, mangrove snapper, and even a few big trout being caught.  Live shrimp, Vudu Shrimp, or DOA Shrimp have been producing the best results.  Fish early morning or late afternoon for best results on the flats in the summertime.  Snook, and a few tarpon, are hanging around the bridges at night.

With all the rain the spillways are open occasionally, and producing a few snook.  Mangrove snapper are showing up inshore pretty good.  Best bait for the inshore snapper is going to be live shrimp or small live fresh pilchards.

SURF/PIER-  Lots of good catch and releases nook action going on in the Jupiter and Palm Beach Inlets right now.  Live bait (croaker, mullet, sardines, thread fin, pinfish, etc...) is the ticket for the snook.  Typically speaking if you catch the bait, your going to get the snook bites!  The Juno Beach Fishing Pier is still producing some nice snook.  Early morning should also produce a chance or two at the tarpon from the pier.  With some small pilchards showing up at the Pier and Jupiter Inlet the mangrove snapper fishing is improving.

Capt. Eric (http://www.freighttrainfishing.com) is on the snook really good right now, give him a call about a trip if you need some help catching that monster snook you've been looking for!
