Sebastian Inlet Report
06-25-14 WEDNESDAY: C/R SNOOK, REDS, SNAPPER, JACKS, BLUE RUNNERS AND AN OCASSIONAL PERMIT
We have another beautiful morning at the inlet. The wind has picked up which is helping keep the no see 'ums away. Winds are blowing out of the North-Northeast at 10 mph and gusting to 12. The water is clean and calm and the NOAA forecast is calling for 1' seas today with an isolated shower to thunderstorms this afternoon.
We had asked on Monday if anyone knew the identity of the man with the large Permit he landed the week before and our good friend SISP Ranger Ed Perry looked through his photos and found a few photos of him, but did not have his name. Ed had a photo which shows him with a real nice oversized Red he landed on a top water chugger and was impressed with the way he properly released the Red by lowering it back into the water via drop net. Our photo is of our unidentified angler with the Red he landed.
