Sebastian Inlet Report

06-16-14 MONDAY: REDS, SNOOK, SMALL MANGROVE SNAPPER, JACKS AND ATLANTIC SPADEFISH

We have a mix of sun and clouds over the inlet this morning. There are some real dark clouds offshore that could bring us rain, so go prepared if you head to the inlet. This morning there is a light chop on the water and the water is calm. Winds are blowing out of the East-Southeast at 7 mph.

We received an update from Zach Carroll who fished the north jetty Friday from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and reported that the C/R Snook were hungry and hitting. Zach and his two buddies landed 6 C/R Snook, 6 C/R Reds, one slot Red, so apparently the afternoons are more productive than the morning hours. Zach also reported that he was fishing the north jetty on Sunday and saw 13 hookups, one 39" C/R Snook was landed and released and one was eaten by a Goliath Grouper lurking under the jetty.

Our angler of the day is Zach Carroll with a C/R Snook he landed Friday off the north jetty.
