Sebastian Inlet Report

06-10-14 TUESDAY: FISHING IS ON THE SLOW SIDE

We have another stellar morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the Southwest at 7 mph, gusting to 9. The water is calm with a light chop on the surface.

Fishing has been hit or miss from the jetties, but a few lucky anglers are landing Blue Runners, Jacks, small Sheepshead and an occasional C/R Snook or Red. Shore anglers have seen some Whiting, a few Pompano, Bonnetheads and Croakers. Dock pilings, bridges and channel edges are good spots to look for Mangrove Snapper.

Our angler of the day is 10 year old Christopher Hutchinson of Orlando. Christopher was fishing the south catwalk when he landed the Sheepshead in our first photo using shrimp.
Photo two is of Christopher just waiting for a bite and enjoying every minute of it!
