Sebastian Inlet Report

06-02-14 MONDAY: SNOOK, REDS, JACKS AND BLUE RUNNERS

We have a strong wind blowing out of the East-Northeast at 17 mph with gusts up to 24. The water is very choppy and a small craft advisory is in effect through this evening. It's not a good day for venturing offshore.

We had a few lucky anglers who landed slot sized Snook on the final day of the season, according to Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop. Tommy reported the weekend was a mixed bag with quite a few oversized Snook and Reds coming over the rails along with Jacks, Blue Runners and a few Snapper. There were moments of exhilaration and long periods of waiting in between.
