Could the weather be any nicer, finally it is summer. Fish early and do not forge the sun screen.

Surf it has been Snook (season is closed), Tarpon, Whiting, Croaker, Permit and a few I forgot. Preferred time is early, pay attention what size if the bait they are feeding on. These fish will focus on a size and that is what they will take, forget the rest. You know that you will release them take the barbs off, makes for a quick release. Plenty of Whiting and Croaker, so do not forget the ice, they are in all day. If you miss the early hour catch the high tide that will bring them in, just do not tell any one I told you so. Again they were every where, has reports from north to south, all day.
It is summer you have to fish early to catch Trout and Reds, a little hard to hide in that bight sun. I under stand you love top water baits and you can use them in low light, but. Fish those treed shore lines, check out the Power Plant it has the shore line that will to see the way.
Check out the St Lucie river it has plenty of deep water for you guy that are late morning anglers and fish deep or get up and get going. Still some of the big Trout with plenty of slot fish fish to fill the bag.
Red fish have been a hard find but they are there, just hard to get them interested so who cares with all that is going the rods will be bent. Summer fishing do not for get the sun screen
