Sebastian Inlet Report

05-06-14 TUESDAY: JACKS, ATLANTIC SPADEFISH, BLUES, LADYFISH AND AN OCCASIONAL SNOOK OR RED. SEA TROUT ON THE FLATS.

We have a splendid morning at the Sebastian Inlet. Blue skies, white fluffy clouds, calm water, but not many fish. Oh well, it's a great day to get out and wet a line. You never know when a nice school of fish will make their way in, out or past the inlet!

Our jetty anglers aren't having a lot of luck, a small variety of species are being landed, nothing in big numbers. Blues, Whiting, Atlantic Spadefish, an occasional Red or Snook, Ladyfish and Jacks have been making periodic appearances.

Our angler of the day is Eric Longsworth of Kissimmee. Eric fished the north jettyaround 10:00 p.m. This oversized Snook hit a white fluke jerk bait. Eric released the Snook unharmed right after the photo.
