Sebastian Inlet Report
05-15-14 THURSDAY: SLIM PICKIN'S
This morning we have a mix of sun and clouds over the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the Southeast at 9 mph and gusting to 12. There is a moderate chop on the water and small craft should exercise caution.
Jetty fishing remains slow. A few Blue Runners, Jacks and Blues are making appearances, but overall it's been pretty dismal. Fishing the Indian River has proven more productive, particularly for Speckled Sea Trout.
Our angler of the day if Dwayne Vincent who was fishing for Sharks over the weekend and hooked up with two and landed one. As he was releasing the Shark, his other line was slammed and he ended up with a 19" Sea Trout.
Photo two is of a baby Summer Flounder that was caught in Dwayne's net while he was casting for bait. Dwayne released the little guy to grow up and become somebody's dinner one day.
