What a beautiful morning we have at the Sebastian Inlet. It's a little windy, but the sky is blue, the sun is shining and the water is clean, albeit a little choppy. Winds are blowing out of the South at 15 mph and gusting to 19. That's ok, because some species like it when the water is churning a bit, particularly Snook and Reds.
We've seen a variety of fish, but not in huge numbers. Schools of fish will come in around the jetties and if you're there at the right time, it's good. Pompano, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Whiting, Blues, Snook and Reds have been making appearances for a few lucky anglers.
Our angler of the day is Minnesota/Vero Beach winter regular Larry Olmsted. Larry landed this 24" Black Drum using live shrimp in the morning incoming tide.
