Sebastian Inlet Report

We hope everyone enjoyed their holidays! It's a beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the South-Southwest at 7 mph and there is a light chop on the water. The NOAA forecast is calling for a small craft advisory from late tonight through Friday morning. Always check the forecast prior to going offshore. The NOAA forecast can be found under the first photo on our web cam page.

Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported a lull in the action from the jetties. There have been some Black Drum and good sized Sheepshead, small Blues a few Pompano and a few Reds, but it's been on the slow side. That includes Flounder; a few have been showing up here and there but SISP Ranger Ed Perry has heard reports that they are holding in the river.
Our first photo today features inlet regular Chuck Fischer of Satellite Beach. Chuck landed this big Black Drum off the north jetty.
Floyd Clark of Vero Beach is in our second photo with a real nice Sheepshead he landed using sand fleas.
