Surf fishing has been great for whiting and pompano up near hobe sound and Fredrick Douglas beach, on shrimp and sand fleas. Andrea of Stuart fishing Sunday with her husband managed a super stud red up by the power plant on avocado chartreuse jig head with a DOA Cal in the green back/melon color. They also managed 3 slot sized snook that they had to release on DOA airheads in the greenback color. Lots of jacks, ladyfish and small trout to be caught as well.
