12-03-13 TUESDAY: BLACK DRUM, REDS, SNOOK, FLOUNDER, SHEEPSHEAD, BLUES, POMPANO AND SPANISH MACKEREL
We have a beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the South-Southwest at 4 mph and the water is calm. The water is cleaning up and looking good according to SISP Ranger Ed Perry who sent in our first photo today.
We've seen some huge Reds, oversized Snook, large and mid-sized Black Drum, Blues, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Sheepshead and Flounder.
Our first photo is courtesy of SISP Ranger Ed Perry who took the photo of Billy Ludlow, who lives in Melbourne Beach. Billy landed this big doormat on Monday. This photo should be enough to get our Flounder fishermen worked up! The water temperature continues to drop and that will bring in the Flounder.
Deron Davis of Orlando sent in our next two photos. Deron and his uncle, Larry Johnson fished and got into some large Black Drum on the north side. Our second photo features Deron with a big Black Drum with the Tide Pool in the background.
Photo three is of Larry Johnson of Orlando with another big Black Drum landed.
Inlet regular Chuck Fischer of Satellite Beach fished the north jetty yesterday morning and landed the 32" Black Drum in our fourth photo, along with another that was 22" and a large Sheepshead, all on dead shrimp.
Our last photo today features Robert Pumarada of Orlando who fished the north jetty and landed quite a few Jacks and Spanish Mackerel.
