Sebastian Inlet Report

12-18-13 WEDNESDAY: BLACK DRUM, POMPANO, SHEEPSHEAD, WHITING AND REDS

We have a beautiful, brisk morning at the inlet, albeit a bit windy. Winds are blowing out of the North at 21 mph and gusting to 25, so hang on to your fishing hats. The water isn't too rough; there is just a moderate chop.

Yesterday, the morning bite was good for Pompano, Redfish, Black Drum and Sheepshead. There were also a few Whiting that came over the rails according to Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach. Mike reported that anglers using clams had the best results. Thanks Mike!

Our first photo features Luke Monterola of Orlando with a nice 18" Pompano he landed early morning using dead shrimp.
Our second angler today is Jordan Alexander who landed his first Snook. The Snook was 25" and landed on a D.O.A shrimp. Although this was Jordan's first Snook, it won't be his last! The Snook was released unharmed right after the photo.
