Sebastian Inlet Report
11-05-13 TUESDAY: CONDITIONS ARE ROUGH AT THE INLET
We are looking at rough conditions again today. Winds are blowing out of the East at 18 mph and gusting to 25. The water is rough and waves are crashing over the rails of the jetties. NOAA has issued a gale warning that is in effect through this afternoon and a small craft advisory through Wednesday afternoon. We haven't had many anglers out fishing over the past few days, but we believe the catches remain the same. This rough weather is good for Snook and Red fishing, if you can handle it!
Our angler of the day is Fred Slopsema of Sebastian who got out to fish before the rough weather set in. Fred fished near the south jetty at night using a bucktail and landed this nice 25.5" slot Red. He also landed a 27" C/R Snook that evening.
