Conditions are less than desirable today. We have heavy, dark clouds over the inlet with a good chance of rain. Winds are blowing out of the East-Northeast at 24 mph and gusting to 30. The water is rough and waves are crashing over the rails of the jetties, soaking the few anglers who are out there braving the elements. The water temperature is cooling off and we should see more species migrating south as it continues to drop.
Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported that conditions were rough but not as severe yesterday, and they landed some decent fish. Big Jacks have been active, along with Reds, a few Snook, Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum and Margate. Sometimes when the weather is rough, the fish bite well.
