Tarpon, Snook and Large Jacks chasing Glass Minnows and small Pilchards in the surf have kept most anglers busy and continues to be a really good bite. Middle cove and North has been holding nice Trout and some Redfish on the flats and Snook around the mangroves and dock structures, Gulp jerk shads, topwater plugs, gold spoons and live baits have all proved to be effective.

Inshore the trout fishing has been ok to the south around bear point on the out going tide on soft baits with a few reds mixed in.The snook fishing has been good in the inlet and on the beach in the schools of bait. The dock lights and the bridges have also had a few fish at night.
