Sebastian Inlet Report

08-20-13 TUESDAY: MANGROVE SNAPPER, JACKS, C/R SNOOK AND REDS
Winds are blowing out of the East at 5 mph this morning and there is a moderate chop on the water.

We received an update from inlet regular Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach who fished the north jetty yesterday morning and reported a good Snapper bite. A lot of anglers got their limit of five, including Mike. Most fish were in the 10" - 12" range, but were nice and fat. Live shrimp, greenies, mojarra and small jigs were all producing results. One Lookdown was landed. Mike, Chuck Fischer of Satellite Beach and Larry Robison of W. Melbourne all had Snook hook-ups using live bait. Mike reported that the water has cleaned up a lot since last week and the breeze made fishing a lot more tolerable. Mike landed the 28" C/R Red in our fist photo today.
Our second photo features Larry Robison with the large C/R Snook he landed yesterday. The Snook was released right after the photo!
