Sebasitan Inlet Report
04-03-13 WEDNESDAY: SPANISH MACKEREL, BLACK DRUM, JACKS, BLUES, FLOUNDER AND SEA TROUT
It's another pretty morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the South-Southeast at 8 mph and gusting to 10. There is a light chop on the water this morning.
We received an update from Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach who was out on the north jetty again yesterday morning. There was an early morning Snook bite around 6:00 a.m. There were three oversized Snook landed before Tony Swiderski of Sebastian landed a keeper at 32". Mike arrived after the Snook bite, but landed three Spanish Mackerel; the Macks weren't nearly as active as Monday. A few small Sheepshead, Bluerunners and Jacks were landed as well. Mike heard that two Pompano were landed on the west end of the jetty, close to the beach.
Our first photo today is of Joel Adamaowicz of Seldon, Long Island, NY. Joel landed this beautiful 32" Flounder on the south beach using a rental rod and live shrimp.
Jose Pomales of Orlando is featured in our second photo. Jose landed this 31.5" Bluefish from the north jetty.
Photo three features Mike Ricciardi of Vero Beach with as many Mackerel that he could hold. Mike got his limit of 15 using Gotcha lures.
Our last photo is of Tony Swiderski of Sebastian with the 32" Snook he landed yesterday. Great catch Tony!
