Sebastian Inlet Report
02-12-13 TUESDAY: SHEEPSHEAD, BLACK DRUM, SNOOK, BLUE AND JACKS
It's another beautiful morning at the Sebastian Inlet. Winds are blowing out of the West-Southwest at 5 mph and there is a light chop on the water.
A variety of fish have been landed off the jetties and beaches, but not in big numbers. Black Drum and Sheepshead are being landed on clams and shrimp and sand fleas. An occasional Spanish Mackerel or Blue will show up, and there's still a few Sea Trout and Snapper being landed on the flats. The incoming tide has been a little more productive than the outgoing. Evenings and early mornings are when the Snook seem to be biting best.
Our first photo today features Owen Ramlal of Poinciana with a Spanish Mackerel he landed off the north jetty using a Gotcha lure.
Our last photo today features Fred Thompson of Haines City. Fred landed his Sheepshead off the north jetty using sand fleas. He drove 202 miles round trip, to fish the inlet!
