Sebastian Inlet Report
01-14-13 MONDAY: BLUES, BLACK DRUM, SHEEPSHEAD AND A FEW SEA TROUT, FLOUNDER AND REDS
It's another beautiful morning at Sebastian Inlet. Winds are blowing out of the South-Southeast at 12 mph and there is a light chop on the water. We have a few surfers in the water this morning taking advantage of a small swell. As always, please use caution when casting off the north side of the north jetty when surfers are present.
Over the weekend Blues and Black Drum were the prevalent catches according to Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop. A few nice sized Sheepshead, Sea Trout, and a couple of Flounder and Reds were landed as well.
Our first photo today features Sonny Advincula of Kissimmee. Sonny landed this big Sheepshead off the north jetty using clams.
Our second photo is of Rich Blum, part time inlet regular and part time snow bird. Rich landed this Black Drum Friday morning. There were 6 Black Drum that came over the rails Friday morning, and Rich was lucky enough to get one of them.
