Sebastian Inlet Report
01-11-13 FRIDAY: TGIF!
Skies are overcast at the inlet this morning, but we have a sunny day forecasted, it will probably clear up late morning, as it's been doing all week. Winds are blowing out of the East-Southeast at 8 mph and there is a moderate chop on the water.
A few Black Drum were landed off the north jetty yesterday morning and Blues and Spanish Mackerel bit in the afternoon hours. Tommy Turowski at the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported that a 10 lb. Sheepshead was landed off the north catwalk yesterday and Pompano were biting on the south beach.
Photo #1 is of Tony Swiderski of Sebastian who landed the Drum in the early morning hours, 5:00 a.m. and 7:30.Our 2nd photos are of Maribel fishing the south side rocks.Maribel landed a 17" Black Drum and 17" Sea Trout along with the beautiful 21" Pompano, using shrimp.
