I started off the day with a breakfast stop at skyway jacks with chris and kris. Randy wouldnt get up and missed the am bite. We went to the spot i had gotten the reds and trout at on thursday. No tailers in sight and lots of other anglers crowding the flat. We moved into the area where the trout were and we were not dissapointed. Nice over slot fish for everyone and kris picked some reds. We both got big mid 20"s gators and we all got plenty of 18"-21" fish. I was working both gulp and DOA CALs. Cris was using CALs and a mirrodean, Kris was using lil johns and mirro dean c eyes. On the way in Chris spotted two cobia and I was lucky enough to get one of them hooked up on my sieble. It was a great fight and the fish jumped multiple times. We called it for lunch and Kris had to leave. Then we found out that Randy had went to a close by flat. Me and Chris made our way there and it was a slow going for a while and then the reds showed up. Randy got a few on the spoon but lost the bigger one-it was over 30". I switched up to the z man and CALs and started to pick off some upper slot fish. Hanna switched to a new penny CAL and hooked up too. Right at dusk they started to tail and we chased them all the way in
